ISLA Visual Communication Design/Marketing Internship 

at the Snite Museum of Art

The Snite Museum of Art, together with the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP), is offering a summer internship for an undergraduate with a major or minor in the College of Arts & Letters to gain experience and knowledge in the field of visual communication and design and marketing under the guidance of the Museum’s professional staff.


Intern will be responsible for creating visual communication materials for the Snite Museum using Photoshop and InDesign; providing administrative assistance; and participating in planning, research, and implementation of communications initiatives. They will assist in a variety of advocacy and engagement strategies, and design communications that support this.  They will also be asked to perform miscellaneous office and administrative tasks. 



Candidates must be available at least 20-25 hours a week; possess excellent written, verbal and design skills; and be available the first week of June through the final week in July.

Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a faculty member in Arts & Letters and a 3-4 page essay explaining why they want to pursue this opportunity, and what skills and abilities they will bring to the project.
