ISLA is very pleased to host a virtual information session on Applying for Grants and Fellowships on Wednesday, October 5 at 11:00 a.m. This webinar will provide basic information on applying for external funding in the social sciences, arts, and humanities. Although designed with junior faculty in mind, the webinar is open to all postdoctoral scholars and faculty in the College of Arts & Letters.

Topics to be covered include:
  • Where to find external funding opportunities
  • The different types of external support available
  • Whom to contact for help with particular proposals
  • How to request research leaves
