National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Seminar Support
To encourage faculty to apply for NEH Summer Seminars, up to two faculty per year may receive support if they are awarded seminar grants from NEH. Four options of support will be made to faculty: 1) receive 1/9th salary for the summer (summer of the actual seminar), 2) a one course reduction taken during the Fall or Spring semester that precedes the summer of the seminar, to allow for time to prepare for the seminar itself, 3) a one course reduction taken during the Fall semester that succeeds the summer seminar to allow for time to conduct research, 4) up to $10,000 toward the costs associated with running the seminar (e.g., graduate assistance).
