Graduate Assistantships, Summer 2008

Stipends of $1,200 per month for one to three months will be available for faculty requiring a graduate assistant to help on the faculty member’s own research project during the summer. Priority will be given to projects supported by external funds that do not provide for graduate assistance during the summer. Graduate assistants must be directly involved in the faculty’s research and writing in ways that contribute to the student’s intellectual formation. This grant is not meant to support clerical or secretarial help. The graduate assistant is expected to work on the project for about 200 hours for the $3,600 maximum summer stipend.
