Note: For grants without a deadline, applications are accepted any time except June 1st - July 31st

How to Credit the Institute 

Please include "The Institute for the Scholarship in the Liberal Arts, College of Arts and Letters, University of Notre Dame" in a list of supporters on any poster and/or publication associated with the event or item for which you have received ISLA funding.

Wording such as the following is suggested:

"This research (event, creative work, etc.) is made possible in part by support from the Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts, College of Arts and Letters, University of Notre Dame."

Endowed ISLA Funds

When funding is awarded from an endowed ISLA fund, you must include the sponsor’s name in the credits. Please send to ISLA office (249 O’Shaughnessy) a hard copy of any item on which the sponsor’s name appears so that we can forward it to the donor.

Example: This [conference] is made possible in part by support from the Henkels Lecture Fund, Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts, College of Arts and Letters, University of Notre Dame
